1. Information We Collect
EduDesk collects only data necessary for administrative tuition operations:
- Student Identifiers: Student full name, date of birth, standard/grade, and admission number.
- Parent & Guardian Contacts: Primary WhatsApp mobile number, email address, and emergency contact.
- Fee & Ledger Transactions: Monthly dues generated, payment receipts recorded (Cash/UPI/Bank), timestamps, and audit records.
2. How Student & Fee Data is Used
Data stored in EduDesk is used exclusively to:
- Generate accurate monthly fee installments, receipts, and balance summaries.
- Dispatch automated WhatsApp payment acknowledgments and polite due date alerts.
- Provide institute administrators with real-time financial reporting and tax-ready audit trails.
3. Authentication & Security Safeguards
All admin and staff access is secured with 4-digit PIN credentials verified by one-time WhatsApp OTPs. Failed login attempts trigger automatic cache-backed brute force rate limiters to prevent credential-stuffing attacks.
